The digital transformation of the wealth management industry is changing client advisory more than ever. Avendus, one of India's leading wealth management firms, partnered with Leaf Design for an upscaled analytical experience for its clients and relationship managers to capitalise on this rising opportunity.
Our research began by conducting interviews with a diverse group of stakeholders. The data collected helped us prioritise ideas and features, articulate user functionalities, and make informed decisions about the product’s functionality.
The phrase ‘Future is next’ inspired us to design the app’s visual language. It captures the essence of growth and progression with the brand's serious and authoritative nature. The goal is to evoke a sense of aspiration with gradients adding a refreshing dynamism and sense of technological advancement to the interface. The integration of data visualisation and serious typography allows easy comprehension of complex information.
Understanding the audience
We learned about the operation of the wealth management sector from extensive interviews and knowledge sessions. In a nutshell, clients sign up with the brand based on their trust in their relationship managers. Therefore, it is critical that the Client RM relationship is nurtured and the advisory is purely client-centric. Rather than simply managing their portfolio, RMs seek investment opportunities that align with their clients' interests. A comprehensive database of client information is hence necessary to learn their interests and passions to diversify their portfolio across sectors.

We focused primarily on developing user flows that guide users through layered information about their portfolio allocation. This allows them to gain a thorough understanding of their investment structure. The app also serves as a highlighting space to reflect thoughtful market insights and analytical tools that assists visionary investors in identifying opportunities for financial diversification.

The client dashboard use simply data visualisation methods to display detailed summary of the entities portfolio, investment details and allocation. The dynamic illustration on the dashboard serves as a canvas for presenting users with new market insights, which helps in increasing engagement and building a more thoughtful experience.

The app serves as a preparatory tool for RMs to stay up to date on their clients' and teams' requests and revenue management, with digitisation processes assisting in the acceleration of work.
This app is extremely beneficial in organising, documenting, and reporting user data. It provides RMs with a unified platform to access and analyse client portfolios & their subject interests. These analytics can be converted into actionable insights; strengthening their advisory activities and deepening their engagement with clients.
Meetings & Planner
The product recommendation is an automated proposition system for faster and more accurate work. All the products are listed by their asset class, with a clear visual representation of the risk profile index, allowing the RM to process data more efficiently and quickly.
Organised system of reports and repository helps in managing individual and team access to the client's repositories. This concise method of organisation saves RMs time and digital tools with infrastructure benefit from greater security, access, archiving, efficiency and compliance.
