In 2025, Contify partnered with Leaf Design to reimagine how market intelligence could be accessed and applied across sales and strategy functions. In an environment where shifts are constant and insights are often scattered, the goal was to elevate how company profiles and battlecards were created, consumed, and shared.
The challenge was not just managing vast amounts of information. It was about designing an experience that simplified complexity, transformed static content into interactive tools, and enabled collaboration at scale. The result was intelligence as a living system: easy to explore, simple to act on, and powerful enough to help teams pitch smarter, respond faster, and compete with confidence.
AI at the Core
Contify is an AI-led market and competitive intelligence platform designed as a continuously updating system. It combines generative AI, machine learning, and human curation to transform unstructured noise from over a million diverse sources into structured, actionable insights.
At the core is Athena, Contify’s integrated AI assistant, embedded across profiles, battlecards, and knowledge graphs. Athena summarises key signals, surfaces key relationships, and answers contextual queries, ensuring that intelligence is not just collected but actively shaped into actionable insights.
This blend of automation and human refinement is Contify’s unique edge, keeping intelligence current, reliable, and context-aware, and powering smarter workflows for sales, strategy, and leadership teams.
Understanding the stakeholders
Designing Contify’s intelligence system began with a deep focus on the people who rely on it every day. From sales, pre-sales, and deal support teams to senior sales managers shaping strategies, our users operate in high-stakes, fast-moving environments where every insight counts.
Our primary users need more than data. They need targeted, real-time, and trusted intelligence that’s easy to access, contextual to their workflows, and scalable across teams. Grounding our design in these needs ensured the platform empowers them to move faster, collaborate better, and compete with confidence.
Company Profile Module
The Company Profile Module redefined how Contify delivers intelligence. By combining modular Fact Cards, reorganising information architecture, introducing contextual KIQ prompts, setting up role-based personalisation and dynamic Knowledge Graphs, we laid the groundwork for scalable innovation across sales, strategy, and marketing teams. Unlike traditional data providers, Contify’s unique dataset captures strategic updates and information that is often scattered and difficult to track.
Athena is Contify’s integrated AI assistant, transforming static company profiles into dynamic, interactive intelligence hubs. It is embedded into every section of the Company Profile, making the system AI-led, always up to date, and future-ready. When analysts need more, Athena is available as a sidebar copilot to ask specific questions and get instant, cross-section answers.
Athena continuously powers insights across the whole experience, ensuring that every interaction is sharper, faster, and more intelligent. Users can refine by time period or topic and follow up conversationally, turning passive data into an active discovery workflow.

Standout feature of the redesigned Contify Company Profile, shifting the experience from static data to living, connected intelligence. By layering competitors, customers, and market signals into a dynamic knowledge graph, it shifts from being a company map to a competitive landscape navigator.

At Contify, Battlecards sit at the intersection of Deal Intelligence and Sales Enablement. While analysts, presales, and deal-support teams curate and structure the intelligence, the end users are sales reps and senior managers who are directly responsible for winning accounts, countering competitor claims, and driving deal strategy.
